Todd Howard Reveals How He Feels About Finally Retiring

The director mentioned in an interview via GQ how he feels ‘weird‘ when he thinks about retiring after serving such a long term. He also revealed in the interview from whom he takes inspiration to keep working and going even after already dedicating nearly three decades of his life to games-

“I want to do it forever, I think the way I work will probably evolve, but… look at Miyamoto. He’s still doing it.”

The director referred to none other than Shigeru Miyamoto, the 71-year-old legend behind Nintendo’s most popular franchise, Super Mario. Todd Howard is also currently working on the development of the next installment for the Elder Scroll series, which is still far from release but is something every fan looks forward to.

Apart from Elder Scrolls 6, Howard seems to also be involved in the development of the coming Shattered Space DLC for Starfield, which fans speculate just might be enough to put the game back on the map.
