Ever since the release of Microsoft’s streaming service, xCloud, the Game Pass catalog has become accessible to a large number of people without the need to own a PC or an Xbox console. There have been major updates to the xCloud service over the years. But one obvious problem has always been under the radar and remained unaddressed: giving players the option to stream games that are outside the Game Pass catalog.

Rumor has it that Nvidia’s cloud platform is about to get integrated with Game Pass, with some games like Resident Evil VillageStreet Fighter 6, and Call of Duty: Warzone already displaying the option to play the game with GeForce Now. Due to this, there have been a lot of speculations concerning the future of the Game Pass subscription if it were ever to get integrated with GeForce Now.

Nvidia’s cloud streaming service can be integrated with Game Pass through an official app on the Microsoft Store or through a simple link that redirects players to the GeForce site via the browser. If this collaboration ever materializes, then Game Pass subscribers will be able to stream titles that are not part of the Game Pass catalog.

These include the likes of Death Stranding, Ghost of Tsushima, Greedfall, or Soma. The most exciting part of this collaboration would be the ability to play a wide array of games beyond the Game Pass catalog, which is already pretty big.

Game Pass and GeForce Together will be Unstoppable

If Nvidia’s streaming service ever comes to Game Pass, then the two of them together will rule the game streaming market with huge margins for years to come. Game Pass already has a lot to offer to a lot of players with the games it currently offers in its catalog.

With the integration of Nvidia’s cloud platform, the availability will go beyond the Game Pass subscription, which is a big big deal. However, nothing has been officially announced by either of the two companies.
