A Reddit user recently shared a post on the r/Helldivers2 subreddit putting the spotlight on an idea that Arrowhead can seriously consider. The player pointed out that Helldivers 2 could be much more immersive and realistic if it had a proximity chat and a dedicated radio button.

The player suggested that there should be something called a “Global radio” that can be disrupted by jammers, weather, or even enemies. To make things much more realistic, Arrowhead can add a Stratagem that boosts signal for better communication.

This idea basically makes Helldivers 2 much more realistic and fun. Players sometimes like to separate from the group to complete missions quickly, but imagine if one can’t communicate with the rest of the team at all. This idea can be executed within a new difficulty type as many players would love to try this out.

Why Is Helldivers 2 Suddenly Losing Players?

When Helldivers 2 was released in February 2024, it was an instant hit. The game’s action-packed PvE combat combined with the co-op gameplay made the game very popular among gamers, however, the hype is now slowly fading away.

Helldivers 2 is certainly an entertaining game but at one point, when you’ve reached the max level and unlocked every Stratagem, booster, weapon, armor, etc, the game gets boring and repetitive. Arrowhead is trying its best to keep the hype alive, particularly with the recent Viper Commandos Premium Warbond, however, the game really needs a major update at this point.

Without a doubt, Helldivers 2‘s narrative is one of the main reasons why hardcore players refuse to leave the game and so far, Arrowhead has kept everyone hooked. Recently, players created a massive Black Hole after destroying the planet Meridia. There were many speculations that Arrowhead was setting up the Illuminate’s invasion but it seems like it’s taking longer than players expected.

The major update for the game is expected to roll out with the introduction of the Illuminate. At the moment, the Helldivers 2 community is fighting hard against Terminids to complete the latest Major Order that requires players to take control of Erson Sands, Bore Rock, Pandion-XXIV, Phact Bay and Acamar IV.
