Mark Wahlberg And Mel Gibson Join Hands For Flight Risk
Getting scratches on the neck comes as an occupational hazard for Mark Wahlberg’s character in the upcoming movie, but things aren’t what they seem to be.
The trailer starts with a U.S. marshall getting chained in an airplane with Wahlberg portraying the role of the pilot. However, Michelle Dockerey’s character notices what appears to be a bullet hole on Wahlberg’s right arm.
Guns drawn, knives pulled, it turns out that Wahlberg’s character is not what he pretended to be. The film quickly turns into a thriller escape situation at 10,000 feet in the air and the stakes are as high as can be. Check out the trailer below:
With Mel Gibson attached as director, the hype is real. Having starred in the Mad Max franchise during its inception and going on to direct films like Braveheart and The Passion of the Christ, Gibson is the apt man for the job.
Being a thriller film about getting stuck in an airplane with a hit-man pilot and a witness, the film takes a nosedive (like the plane) into what can only be described as a thriller/escape plot with nowhere to run (or fly).
Fans Are Loving Mark Wahlberg In This New Role!
Well, Wahlberg is presently associated with dad roles since the actor starred in movies like Arthur The King and The Family Plan in recent years. Well, this new look of Wahlberg has gotten fans excited and riled up!
From the trailer, it seems that Wahlberg is the bad guy. Taking to their social media accounts on X, fans stated that this film will be quite good and that they are anticipating the its’ release.
From having some controversy about his name to creating iconic films, fans are also stating that Mel Gibson is back again with another iconic film. However, everything could also go wrong at any time!
Although fans are hyped up and anticipating the film, there were also some opinions that the film looks cringe and that they revealed the entire story in the trailer. However, only time can tell whether this movie will succeed and give Mark Wahlberg a makeover or not.
Flight Risk is slated for a release date of 18 October 2024 in theaters across the U.S.
