One Helldivers 2 player took to the Helldivers subreddit and shared a list of the “top deadliest planets by deaths per mission,” and it is quite horrendous. Players have said it is harder to fight and win against bots than against bugs. Players have said that automatons are much more deadly than the Terminids, and it is really hard to avoid dying while fighting, no matter how well someone plays. This has caused gamers to avoid fighting the bugs.

Many have said that the intense heat on bug planets is punishing for Helldivers, but nothing is more dangerous than the planets with Automaton fronts. The list does have more mission wins than losses on most of the planets, but the death numbers are quite high, which speaks volumes about how unbalanced the enemies are in Helldivers 2.

Players have stated that there are a lot of things as dangerous as bots on these planets that contribute to player deaths, such as shrooms. Arrowhead needs to give this a look and either make both Terminids as hard as Automatons or just nerf the bots to balance the game.
