There is no confirmation of this name or game officially, but every new leak makes this title a reality. In recent leaks, insiders of this saga talk about how the Exfil mode will be back in this new title, but with a very important change: the possibility of playing with up to four players.

Last year, Activision probably launched one of the worst Call of Duty games ever. Fans really hated how the company reused things from previous games and tried to merge the story with Warzone. Critics and players really noticed this, making Modern Warfare 3 the worst-scored title in the franchise since 2003. Apparently, this could all change in the next iteration of the saga; insiders are leaking some real new features.

According to a known insider and leaker, Activision will change how the Exfil mode works in the upcoming Call of Duty: Black Ops Gulf War. After several games with the DMZ being reattached to a new title, with the limitation of only extracting a play with three players, four player co-op will be introduced finally.

This leak also confirms that this new Call of Duty will have a zombie mode in Modern Warfare 3. Fans are waiting for the return of a proper story mode that doesn’t involve Warzone missions.

Black Ops is one of the most praised games in the franchise, with an amazing story that has conspiracy theories, action, and an almost Hollywood-esque type of development. With the voices of great actors like Gary Oldman, Sam Worthington, and more.

The new game will be revealed in the second half of the year, as demonstrated by previous games. The launch of previous titles took place between October and November. As for the latest Black Ops games, fans were not very happy about the history of the features in general, which were considered average titles in this giant franchise. This is a new opportunity from Activision to revive this IP and make fans come back to the game.

If this new Call of Duty also flops between critics and fans, Activision will really have to consider not launching a new game every year. Ubisoft decided not to launch a new Assassin’s Creed every year, creating more gaps between titles. This could be proof of how the industry and consumers are changing to new games. The ultimate test is about to come for the company that created the most profitable IP ever.

I'm a big fan of movies and videogames in general. I really love Pokémon and Godzilla. One of my favorite games is The Last of Us, Part II. A compelling and well-written story is always welcome.
