Drake has released another diss track, Family Matters, in response to Kendrick Lamar’s 6:16 in LA. The Canadian rapper brutally attacks Lamar on a personal level, dragging his relationship with Whitney Alford and his fatherhood. However, it is not just Lamar who’s on the firing line this time. Drake has also dissed his other rivals in the music industry, including A$AP Rocky, The Weeknd, Metro Boomin, Future, and Rick Ross.
He launches brutal insults against A$AP Rocky and Rihanna in his track. Rocky previously targeted Drake in his track Show of Hands. Lamar came up with his response track within hours, titled Meet the Grahams, where he further launched personal attacks against Drake.
Drake Disses Ex-Girlfriend Rihanna And Her Baby Father A$AP Rocky
The feud between Drake and Kendrick Lamar has crossed all personal boundaries as both singers have raised their bars of insult against each other. Drake takes several shots at Lamar’s personal life, even questioning his fatherhood, in the latest diss track, Family Matters. However, Drake also fired back at several of his opponents, who dragged Drizzy’s name through the mud in the recent past.
The God’s Plan singer took a dig at A$AP Rocky, who earlier dissed Drake in one of his songs. The track also indirectly pulls Rihanna into the mess. Drake calls out Rocky using his government name, Rakim Mayers. Rocky rapped in his track Show of Hands that he had allegedly hooked up with Sophie Brussaux, the mother of Drake’s son Adonis (via Rap-Up).
In response, Drake rapped that he was hooking up with Rihanna when Rocky was hitting on his baby mother. He also dissed Rocky’s rap career and told him that he should’ve another kid before making such diss tracks. Drake rapped in his music video:
“Rakim talking shit again
Gassed cause you hit my BM first n***a do the math who I was hitting then
I ain’t even know you rap still cause they only talking bout your fit again
Probably gotta have a kid again before you think of dropping shit again”
It was not just Rocky who got caught up in the middle of the fire between Drake and Kendrick Lamar. Drake also took plenty of shots at The Weeknd. The One Dance singer alleged that the After Hours singer is a drug addict, rapping, “The boss is a drugged out little punk sissy from the northside.” He also dismissed the recent albums of Future and Metro Boomin in his diss against them.
Drake and Kendrick Lamar Feud Is Not Ending Anytime Soon
Kendrick Lamar released back-to-back tracks Euphoria and 6:16 in LA that attack Drake’s music career, personal life, and biracial identity. Drake did not hold back on his response track as he ripped apart Lamar’s personal life. He mentioned Lamar’s fiancée, Whitney Alford, in the track. He questions his fatherhood and alleges that one of his kids could actually be Dave Free’s child. Free is Lamar’s creative partner. Drake rapped:
“Your baby mama captions always screamin, “save me”
You did her dirty all her life, you tryna make peace
I heard that one of them little kids might be Dave Free
Don’t make it dave freeze
Cause if your GM is your BM secret BD.”
The seven-minute thrashing ends with the Rich Baby Daddy singer questioning Lamar’s “bachelor life” in New York and mocking him for purchasing jewelry from Tupac Shakur‘s estate and Pharrell’s collection.
Lamar dragged each member of Drake’s family in his response track, Meet the Grahams. He even addressed a “baby girl”, suggesting that Drake has a secret daughter. For sure, the feud is getting nastier with each passing day.
