Fans have been waiting for Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero for a very long time. There has been news and updates in bits and pieces, but no hint of a release date. Therefore, the launch date was hugely speculated, thanks to the Master vs. Apprentice trailer.
But finally, the wait is over. All eyes were on Summer Game Fest 2024, and this event has come to fulfill the expectations of all the fans who are highly anticipating this title.
Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero Release Date is Here
After a long wait, the release date of this highly anticipated title is here. At Summer Game Fest 2024, Bandai Namco announced that Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero is going to be released on October 11, 2024, with a new trailer.

The trailer shows the Ultra Instinct transformation of Goku at the very beginning, featuring pre-existing characters like Piccolo, Vegeta, Giant Ape, and many more. It showcased a mystery fighter as well. Many new characters like Jiren, Ultra Instinct Goku, Black Goku, Majin Buu, etc., were also revealed, with some interesting and unique abilities players have never seen.
Fans were able to witness an iconic scene in the game’s settings in the trailer: Goku sacrificing himself to kill Raditz. Not only that, players will have the liberty to choose different paths in the conventional storylines of Dragon Ball Z in the “what if” scenarios of the game.
The company has also informed us that the pre-order page for PS5, Xbox Series, and Steam will open at 4 PM PDT or 1 AM CEST. This release marks the beginning of a new installment since the last one of the series in 2007, Budokai Tenkaichi 3.

Players who pre-order the game will get a 6-character early unlock and a mystery playable character. These characters include standard Gogeta, Super Saiyan Gogeta, Super Saiyan Blue Gogeta, Standard Broly, Super Saiyan Broly, and Broly Legendary Super Saiyan.
The content of the Premium Collector Edition is confirmed as well. This edition consists of the base game, a Lenticular Card with Ultimate Edition Upgrade Pack Voucher Code, a SteelBook, a game-themed exclusive diorama (264×174 mm), Dragon Ball Fusion World exclusive cards (3 playable cards, 1 energy marker card), and a double-sided bookmark.
The Ultimate Edition Upgrade Pack Digital contains the Ultimate Upgrade Pack, Ultimate Edition Bonus, Season Pass with more than 20 playable characters, and last but not least, the Session Pass Bonus.
