In the above comment, the Redditor made a fair assumption by stating that the what-if choices would most likely be extended beyond a single battle and a cutscene; otherwise, they wouldn’t feel substantial. However, their scope could also be restricted to the end of a story arc because if that is not done, the game’s narrative will turn into that of an incredibly layered choice-based RPG, which may be beyond the scope of the upcoming game.
