It’s a known fact that character transformations are crucial in Dragon Ball games. These allow some of the most iconic characters of the series to reflect their iconic forms and give players a chance to play with dramatic power-ups! While there’s no doubt that Bandai has expanded upon the feature in the upcoming Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero, it lacks a crucial mechanism: a health boost.

Many fans in the community believe that gaining health after transforming characters such as Broly and Frieza should be a thing in Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero. Such an interesting mechanic could definitely change how players approach battles.

Character transformations that grant health recovery could definitely add to the overall strategy of the game. Upon transforming, a character could instantly get a small percentage of their health back.

Developers can even make transformations that trigger gradual health regeneration over time. It’s a mechanic that perfectly balances risk and reward, encouraging gamers to time their transformations during rights.

You’ll be surprised to know that some of the previous games in the Dragon Ball franchise featured this particular mechanic for some iconic characters. It’s still not clear why Bandai hasn’t brought it back for Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero, but there’s still time for them to rethink and add another layer of excitement to player battles!
