Since the February 2nd episode of Friday Night SmackDown, The Rock has indeed made a highly anticipated return to WWE programming, hinting at regular appearances leading up to WrestleMania 40. His involvement in an ongoing feud with Cody Rhodes made it clear that The Great One would play a substantial role in WWE. However, it seems that amidst The Rock’s resurgence in the wrestling world, there are allegations from a professional wrestler accusing him of stealing the ‘Final Boss’ moniker.

Fans are eagerly anticipating a potential showdown between The Rock and Roman Reigns, but there’s also a collective desire to ensure that Cody Rhodes’ storyline isn’t overshadowed. Initially, there were concerns about this imbalance, but a more balanced approach has been adopted. Therefore, Cody Rhodes will still get to face Roman Reigns in the main event of WrestleMania 40, but he still has to contend with The Rock before that.

Serena Deeb, a former WWE star now working for AEW, recently discussed Dwayne ‘The Rock‘ Johnson’s use of the term ‘Final Boss’ on a recent episode of Highspots Sign-it-Live. She pointed out that she had used the term on the March 2 episode of AEW Collision, weeks before The Rock used it on social media to hype up his appearance on the March 15 episode of SmackDown.

During her appearance, Deeb remarked, “Funny thing is I said that (‘The Final Boss’) on Collision.” She then suggested that The Rock may have taken the term from her, saying, “He stole it? Someone took it, and you guys would know who he is,” directly referring to The Rock.

Booker’s explanation on the Hall of Fame podcast sheds light on why no one has directly called out Dwayne Johnson for using the term ‘Final Boss.’ Booker suggests that The Rock’s position on the board gives him a sense of authority and autonomy, allowing him to act as he pleases.

“You know Rock though, he feel like you know since he on the Board he can do what he want he pretty much do what he want to do.”

After what transpired on this week’s episode of Monday Night RAW, it is safe to say that The Great One truly embodies The ‘Final Boss’ moniker.

Likelihood of The Rock’s Dream Match With Roman Reigns Happening One Day

\WWE and professional wrestling, though not classified as competitive combat sports, place significant physical demands on athletes. This requires thorough training for participants, irrespective of their experience level. Even seasoned wrestlers like Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson must undergo rigorous preparation before each match to ensure they are physically and mentally prepared for the challenges they face.

After a four-year hiatus, The Rock returned to WWE in September 2023 but has yet to compete in a match. Paul Heyman, WWE’s newest Hall of Fame inductee, in a recent interview with Jimmy Traina from Sports Illustrated, talked about The Rock’s conditioning for a match.

Upon his return to WWE, The Brahma Bull initially aimed to face Reigns for the Head of the Table title, diverting from fans’ expectations of Cody Rhodes concluding his storyline. However, a sudden heel-turn led to Johnson teaming up with his cousin instead.

In discussing the potential for a dream match between Johnson and Reigns without the heel-turn, Paul Heyman expressed optimism, stating, “Could Dwayne Johnson have come back and put together a really classic, very memorable 15-minute match with Roman Reigns for this year’s WrestleMania without going through that training? I bet he could.” Heyman was positive about the feasibility of a fifteen-minute bout.
