Helldivers 2 is a fun game and that is evident by its success and the massive community that it has built since its release. The game has been losing players in recent times due to issues in the game but many players are still here.
Despite the issues in the game, fans have continued playing and fighting to spread managed democracy. One player has recently experienced something amazing that made them appreciate Helldivers 2 like they did on day one.
Helldivers 2 Player Experiences the Good Old Days
Helldivers 2 has been full of issues lately and almost in every aspect, from gameplay to technical issues and it doesn’t seem to want to end soon. However, players are still playing the game and one player has shared their ‘beautiful’ experience that they recently had in the game.
Reddit user mcsh4shlik took to game’s subreddit and shared that they wanted to “break of the endless horrors of difficulty 8 and 9” and played on easy difficulty. They said that they were joined by a player who was on level 7 after a mission and the rest of the squad was between level 50 and 60.
The player said that they played on difficulty 7 and described it as the “most fun game we had in a while.” They said that seeing the level 7 player was ‘screaming’ with excitement and chaos and that he was the only Helldiver to make it to the extraction shuttle as the rest of the squad had already died.
The level 7 player did leave the squad unexpectedly during the third mission but the player thanked them. “Thank you for reminding us how fun and chaotic this game is for the first 10-20 games, we kinda forgot this feeling. You did good and I hope we meet again,” user mcsh4shlik said.
The Game Is Full of Exciting and Wholesome Moments Like This
Several players, in response to the user, have shared that they too have experienced something like this and it is the best way to experience the game like it was during the early days. One player said that game is more fun when players are running around like headless chickens and “dying and diving again.”
Another player suggested to have a mentor system in the game, they said, “they should have some sort of mentor system, after level 50 you can play on easy and earn something through helping new players.”
Some fans have been quitting the game due to the issues but many in the replies have said that the game hasn’t lost the excitement for them. They said that helping new players and trying new things adds to the fun of the game.
