In an interview during the release of the second season of Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War, Tite Kubo, the creator of the series, made a grave mistake. He revealed some important information about the Bleach anime series, after which, Shueisha, the Japanese publishing company, was forced to cut an entire part of his interview.
According to reports, Kubo shared some exclusive details about the captain of the 13th division of the Gotei 13, Jūshirō Ukitake, and his connection to Hell in the Bleach narrative. Although the connection between the two has already been discussed in the manga, Kubo must have revealed something extremely intriguing for Shueisha to take such a step.
The revelation was made by the interviewer, Chiaaki Matsuzawa who was interviewing Kubo for the Krew beInside special show on Jump Comics YouTube channel. She later pointed out that the part about Ukitake and Hell’s Phosphorus was removed from the interview entirely.

However, later on, the interviewer talked about the spoiler being removed from the interview on her official X account.

I truly believe Kubo Tite is a genius, and I’m extremely delighted that they continue to draw even now. By the way, the part where I asked about Ukitake-san and Hell’s Phosphorus was omitted from the interview.”
Matsuzawa shared her appreciation for getting the opportunity to interview one of the biggest mangakas in the world. She revealed that she asked Tite Kubo about Ukitake and Hell’s Phosphorus but it was essentially removed from the interview by Shueisha. It is assumed that Kubo shared some crucial details that could have affected the story of Bleach.
Jūshirō Ukitake, and His Connection to Hell’s Phosphorus
Hell in Bleach is a place where the souls who do not reach the Soul Society of Hueco Mundo. Ukitake was cast into hell because, after his death in the series, the spiritual component of his soul was too dense for Soul Society. Hell could easily contain the immense powers of the soul of the 13th-division captain.
Hell’s Phosphorus is a mysterious topic in Bleach and it has only been mentioned in the Bleach one-shot manga Bleach: No Breaths From Hell. The events in the one-shot manga take place after the storyline of Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War has ended. However, even the one-shot manga doesn’t explicitly explain Ukitake’s connection to Hell’s Phosphorus.
When the details about Kubo discussing Ukitake and Hell’s Phosphorus came to light, manga fans were delighted as they were finally going to get the answers to the mystery. Some even believed that Kubo might be planning to combine the storyline of Bleach: No Breaths From Hell in the finale of Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War. However, more details about it will only be revealed after the third and potentially the final part of the series gets released.
