Kevin Spacey has been in a dire financial situation, which is taking a major toll on the actor. In his recent appearance on Piers Morgan’s Uncensored show, he addressed his ongoing legal troubles, which have left him with huge debt.

Ahead of the episode’s airing, a preview of the show has been making rounds on social media in which the host asked him whether he’s facing bankruptcy. The actor replied, “We’ve managed to sort of dodge it, at least as of today” as he believed that he would have to face the situation someday.

When asked how much money he had with him at the time, he stated, “None… I still owe a lot of legal bills that I have not been.” During the conversation, he broke down in tears as he revealed that he would travel to Baltimore as his house was foreclosed and sold at auction.

He added that Baltimore has been his home since 2012 when he started working at the House of Cards. Spacey is now preparing to pack his belongings into storage, adding that he has no idea where he will live next.

He told the host that he owes a lot of legal bills, considerably in “many millionsbefore adding that his house is worth many millions. However, his emotional appearance seemed to have not affected the viewers.

The actor denied those allegations and came out as gay. However, his career took a major lump as Netflix, the platform that streamed House of Cards, severed its ties with the actor and even removed his character, Frank Underwood from the last season.

He was even involved in a legal dispute with House of Cards producer MRC II over his termination from the show arising from sexual misconduct allegations. Due to his firing, the producer bore financial losses with the show’s collapse further igniting the issue.

Under a settlement done late last year, a Los Angeles Superior Court judge approved that agreed to pay MRC II $1 million, according to Deadline. Initially, an arbitrator ruled that the actor was liable for damages of over $31 million plus interest.
