From Software and Hidetaka Miyazaki are pushing the quality of gaming to new horizons that were not possible before, just by keeping the difficult in its games. The studio has surpassed all expectations with games like Elden Ring, Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice, Bloodborne, and, of course, all the Dark Souls saga, giving birth to one of the most recently popular sub-genres, the soulslike.
In several interviews, Miyazaki has talked about the future of the studio, always keeping only one target in mind and maintaining the high quality and reputation of future titles.
Elden Ring and Bloodborne creator Hidetaka Miyazaki is all about the quality of the games
The community behind all the From Software games is one of the most huge and active on the internet. They are always the first to play all the games and make mods as suggestions for future projects.
The creator of numerous of the best games from the studio, Hidetaka Miyazaki, is always grateful to the fans and really appreciates the love that he has received. Interviews revealed that the director of Elden Ring or Bloodborne doesn’t care about what they say about him; he only wants the quality of the projects is always the best.
In previous interviews, Miyazaki was asked about From Software being defined by Dark Souls or Soulslike in general and how he will be as a president of the studio. He replied:
“I don’t care about what type of president I will be in the future or how I’ll be remembered, I just believe that moving on is necessary in order for players to continue enjoying our games.”
The only goal of this director is that players enjoy the games, and he will do everything in his power to maintain the quality that the studio has.
The future of From Software has not been revealed
The only thing that From Software will be launching this year is the long-awaited Elden Ring DLC, Shadow of the Erdtree. Last year, the studio released Armored Core VI: Fires of Rubicon to an overwhelming reception; this title was not directed by Hidetaka Miyazaki.
After this, fans had no news about the studio until the reveal trailer for Shadow of the Erdtree. The Japanese developer has not revealed its next project.
On June 21, Shadow of the Erdtree will launch for the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series S/X, and PC. From Software has confirmed that this will be its biggest expansion ever for any game. Elden Ring base game will be required to play this DLC; it will cost $39.99 on any platform.
