Justin Timberlake broke headlines recently with his DWI arrest in New York. The singer had been in the middle of his US tour to promote his latest album Everything I Thought It Was when the incident happened. Timberlake was reportedly highly intoxicated when officers stopped his vehicle and checked on him and this rather embarrassing incident goes against the list of rules that his wife Jessica Biel allegedly imposed on him.
As reported by Heat World, Biel has been very careful with his husband’s actions ever since his infamous 2019 cheating scandal. She allegedly laid down some important rules for him that he should abide by during his current tour. A source told Heat World that Biel wants Timberlake to check in every night and she should be able to reach him whenever she wants.
The source further claims that Timberlake also agreed never to go out or party after his shows. If he does anything that humiliates or breaks their trust, it will reportedly be the last straw for Biel. The source said,
He’s got to check in with Jessica every night and she’s got to be able to reach him whenever she wants, no excuses. He’s agreed that he won’t be going out after the shows partying and drinking – or putting himself in situations that could leave room for doubt.
If he does anything that humiliates her or breaks their trust, she’s made it clear that will be the last straw. Jessica will be keeping extremely close tabs and expecting him to follow those rules to the letter.
Timberlake’s latest incident is indeed a humiliating one and one which will certainly not be well received by his wife. A source has told People that Biel is not happy with the incident but will always be by her husband’s side and continue supporting him. Timberlake will be attending a hearing about the incident in court next month.
Justin Timberlake Recorded Over 100 Songs For Everything I Thought It Was
Justin Timberlake recently released his sixth studio album Everything I Thought It Was following 2018’s Man of The Woods. The singer had been working on the album for some years and he recorded a huge number of material for it.
In an interview with Zane Lowe, the Selfish singer stated that he recorded over 100 songs. Timberlake also claimed that he is very excited with his new record and even went on to say that it was his best work to date. He said (via People),
I worked for a long time on this album and I ended up with 100 songs. So narrowing them down to 18 was a thing. I think every artist probably says this, but it is my best work.
When the album was released in March 2024, it came at number 4 on the US Billboard 200, making it Timberlake’s sixth consecutive top 5 album in the US (via Billboard). The singer embarked on a world tour to promote the album titled The Forget Tomorrow World Tour, which began in April 2024 and will conclude in December 2024.
