Joining comedian Andrew Santino in his podcast, Benny Blanco recalled that he believed he was so ugly and his features were so grotesque but he popped out of the other side as a hot guy.
I believe that, like, I’m actually so ugly and my features are so grotesque that I popped out the other side, and now I’m just like a hot guy.
However, Santino didn’t see eye to eye with his statements, as he bluntly disagreed, stressing “I’m definitely better looking than you for sure yeah, just on an objective scale”. This kickstarted a friendly banter between the two, as the duo went back and forth with Santino stating he’s a full-sized guy while comparing Blanco to Sid from Ice Age, while the songwriter kept repeating “You’re so red”.
But it’s pretty apparent that Blanco took the insults in good spirits, as both shared a good laugh by taking a dig at their insecurities.

Reflecting on his first date with Selena Gomez, Benny Blanco revealed that he didn’t initially register their meet-up as a date until the Emilia Perez star brought it up during their conversation.
While singing her praises, as he deemed Gomez “the coolest, the nicest, the sweetest”, the songwriter, who has been dating the singer since last July, detailed:
When we went out on our first date, I didn’t even know it was a date. She was like, ‘Hey, you want to hang out?’ And I was like, ‘Yeah.’ We go, and we hang out, and I remember we were talking—and she’s such a forward person—she’s the coolest, the nicest, the sweetest I remember sitting there, and she’s like, ‘Well, I would have worn something different for this date.’ And I was like, ‘What? We’re on a date?’
While Blanco has deemed the Hotel Transylvania star his best friend, and both had been very passionate about each other online, the hate wagon against Blanco is still running.
