Lies of P, one of the most successful and popular titles of the past year, has won a ton of awards. The studio behind the game, Neowiz, has recently won the Best Visuals Award for this game, an achievement that not even Elden Ring could manage to get.
The soulslike genre keeps making very interesting titles that are part of the amazing work that Hidetaka Miyazaki began with the Dark Souls saga. Some titles are aiming to even surpass the original material, making these kind of games more popular than ever.
Not Even Elden Ring Could Win the Award That Lies of P Received

Lies of P won an award that not even Elden Ring could get in the past. This title won the best visuals award, surpassing any other major title that could achieve this, like Death Stranding: Director’s Cut and Honkai Starail, among other games that were able to run on Mac.
A Great Achievement for The South Korean Studio
Fans of the genre eagerly anticipated the release of this game on September 18, 2023. Upon its launch, the game exceeded expectations. This particular title presents you with a unique take on Pinocchio, featuring fascinating weapons and upgrades that you can use with your body.
Another feature of the game is excellent enemy design and a very good story, which makes the experience even more immersive. In a recent mysterious video, Neowiz revealed that Lies of P could be receiving a DLC soon that could be shown in the upcoming Xbox Summer Showcase Event.
Many fans were sure that this studio would be introducing the new expansion at the Summer Game Fest, but this presentation ended without any mention of the game or any content whatsoever, making the community wait a little longer for this. Fans of the game are eager to see what it will show next.
In the video, the users could see a new weapon that was not part of the original title. This expansion could bring new enemies, new locations, and more mechanics to this original game that shocked and surprised all the soulslike fans. The Xbox event will be showcased on June 9th.
