Shooter titles are one of the most played games, and the number of such games has grown in the last few years. Titles like Valorant, Overwatch 2, and the upcoming Marvel Rivals have appeared on the scene and are loved by players.
These games have garnered a huge community of their own for doing something unique compared to other titles. While these titles are very popular, one new shooter title has been blowing up in the right regions, and this title deserves all the attention that it is getting right now.
Valorant Has Competition With This New Tactical Shooter
One X/Twitter user shared a clip of them playing a new title called Strinova and called it “the greatest shooter game” they have ever played. The clip showed them taking down enemies and turning into a paper-like thingy to dodge bullets and escape from the enemy’s sight.
Strinova is an anime-like cross-dimension team-based shooter that has been developed and published by iDreamSky. The game offers players an ability called “Stringify” that lets them easily switch between three-dimensional and two-dimensional forms.
These different forms allow players to try new strategies as well as different routes. There are also different factions in the game and the characters have different roles that players can choose as per their wishes or what suits their playstyle the best.
Strinova also has a bunch of multi-layered maps and offers tactical skill operations. It also has several usable devices that players use during battles to form a “unique team combat system.” There are different game modes similar to other titles but with unique twists for an amazing experience.
NA Players Need Not Wait Long for the Game
The game seems to have garnered a lot of Valorant players’ interest and they are now looking to get their hands on it as soon as they can. Although the game still needs some work on graphics and dodges, it is still awesome. Strinova is currently in beta phase for NA and Japan region and will fully launch soon.
The beta test server was opened for select players on June 19, 2024, at 9:00 PM, and the test will continue until June 30, 2024, at 6:00 AM. The game is also only on PC as of now but may come to consoles if it gets a positive reception and seeing how it is already making waves, it is easily possible.
The mechanic in the game that lets players turn into 2D forms is most liked by the players and they have said that it is clever to have something like this in the game. Players interested in playing the game in beta phase can try their luck by applying for access via Steam or the official website of the game to check it out.
