For One Piece, Oda created SBS, or Shitsumon o Boshū Suru, which means “I’m Taking Questions?” It is a column where Oda answers all kinds of questions about the One Piece storyline and sometimes even reveals some interesting information that he might not have included in the original manga.

However, sometimes the questions can be pretty weird. Not only that but sometimes fans come to Oda with some eerie requests that even make the manga creator uncomfortable. A similar instance took place in SBS volume 109, which is set to release on July 4. A fan asked Oda to draw the buttocks of every Straw Hat male character. Sadly, Oda had to reject the request.

Eiichiro Oda Gets the Weirdest One-Piece Request

SBS Volume 109 contains the queries for chapters 1101 to 1110. These chapters majorly focused on Bonney finding out the truth about Kuma and her family through Saturn, the Five Elders reaching Egghead Island, Luffy’s battle with Saturn and Kizaru, Vegapunk’s message being broadcast to the entire One Piece world, etc.

As Oda answered the questions about these chapters, he got a weird request from a One Piece fan. Oda immediately rejected the request, and this interaction was posted by @pewpiece on X.

However, Oda stated that he was not interested, so he wouldn’t be able to fulfill this request. Sadly, this is not the first time Oda has received such weird requests.

Other Revelations in One Piece SBS Volume 109

Besides rejecting the weird request to see the male Straw Hat crew members’ backsides, Eiichiro Oda got some interesting questions for volume 109, which makes a lot of things clear about the story. In volume 109, Oda revealed that the Warlord who was defeated by Ace was called Hanafuda, and his hobby was collecting Ancient Zoan Devil Fruits.

He even revealed the name of the sword of Fujitora, the Admiral of the Navy. According to Oda, Fujitora’s sword is called Yakuza Kasen; it’s one of the 12 Supreme Grade Blades, and was forged in Wano. This is the fifth Supreme-grade sword introduced in the One Piece storyline, and there are still seven left.

Oda even answered the question about Bonney’s Devil Fruit, the Age-Age Fruit, and revealed that while many fans believe that Bonney can use her Devil Fruit to become immortal, it was revealed by Bonney herself that the effect of her Devil Fruit does not last long on living things, which means that she cannot live forever no matter what.
