Miyazaki also said, “He’s attractive as a character, and I also like the situation of the Radhan Festival”, giving an explanation as to why the demigod is his favorite.

Players know Radahn as a Legendary Boss in Elden Ring who is also one of the strongest demigods in the game. However, he is an optional boss in the game and therefore it is not necessary for the players to engage with him to make progress in the game. However, players will have to defeat him to get access to the Shadow of the Erdtree DLC.

Miyazaki also added during the interview that apart from Radahn, Godric, and Rykard are his next favorites on the list of bosses in Elden Ring.

Many complained of not being able to keep up with Radahn at his full potential. After listening to the complaints of the players, FromSoftware rolled out the 1.03 patch notes, and from what it looked like, the abilities of Radahn were nerfed.

Although the developers didn’t officially mention this and addressed the update to fix various bugs, many dataminers felt that the legendary boss was doing significantly less damage to players after the update.

In this new update, according to many players, Radahn’s weapon hitboxes were reduced by almost 40 percent. His melee damage was also reduced by around 8-10 percent. Moreover, his projectiles were also made smaller.

Many players were also not happy with the developers for excessively nerfing Radahn. This is because even in the New Game, the demigod was easy to be defeated no matter what type of build was used against him.
