The MVP of the Egghead Island arc, Dr. Vegapunk, has certainly made a name for himself as one of the most important characters in One Piece. He has given some of the most vital information about the history of the One Piece world that was hidden from the people because of the threat it posed to the rule of the World Government.

Vegapunk’s intelligence can be seen from the fact that he was able to divide his being into six different forms that carry the same brain as Vegapunk with the help of Punk Records. However, two satellites, along with the main Shaka, were recently killed in the manga, and now only Atlas, Lilith, and Edison are left. Aside from these five, the sixth one (York) is the traitor.

Although there are only three satellites left, many One Piece fans believe that there is one more who is hidden somewhere else and is waiting for the right moment. There is one theory that points out that maybe the seventh satellite is Eustass Kid, one of the strongest pirates in the One Piece world.

One Piece Theory Suggests Eustass Kid is the Last Satellite

According to u/TanaerSG, there have been some instances that prove that Kid might be the seventh satellite of Dr. Vegapunk. The first and most important one is the number 7 which is imprinted on his hand and is usually visible whenever he uses his Devil Fruit. Recently, it was seen when Kid used his attack called ‘Damned Punk’ against Shanks.

Another aspect that points to Kid being one of Vegapunk’s satellites is the fact that his character and his personality represent the seventh sin, pride. Each satellite represents a part of Vegapunk’s personality, except for pride. Kid’s character is the literal embodiment of pride, as seen through his narrative in One Piece.

Except for these two aspects, there is not much evidence to support this theory. However, if this theory holds any ground, then Kid being one of the satellites can bring about a big change in the entire One Piece narrative and give him an important role in taking revenge against the Five Elders for killing Vegapunk.

Where is Eustass Kid Right Now?

Eustass Kid and his crew were last seen in One Piece, chapter 1079. After the alliance between Kid, Law, and Luffy broke, Kid decided to go after the man marked by flames. No one knows who he was referring to, and it is also a big mystery in the One Piece story. However, One Piece fans saw him reaching Elbaf, which likely points to Jaguar D. Saul being the man marked by flames.

Before Kid could meet Saul, he had to face the Red-Haired Pirates and his grand fleet. In the beginning, it felt like Kid could take on the Red-Haired Pirates, as he was destroying the fleet pretty easily. However, when Shanks entered the fight, it only took him one attack to destroy the entire Kid Pirates crew and even their ship.

As of now, the whereabouts of Kid are unknown. Because he was a Devil Fruit user and his ship got sunk, many One Piece fans believe that he might be dead. But it is highly unlikely that Eiichiro Oda would give an incomplete farewell to such an important character in One Piece.
