It’s been nearly a month since the Stellar Blade demo was launched on PlayStation 5, and players have been having a blast and are excitedly waiting for the full launch on April 26, 2024. Players have spent a lot of time playing the demo, and some have recorded a huge number of hours.
While it is good that players are having fun in Stellar Blade, one player has gone to all extents to see everything that the demo has to offer before they experience the full game. However, it’s something that director Hyung-Tae Kim wouldn’t approve of, as he has been asking players to take it easy.
A Stellar Blade Fan Has Unlocked Almost Every Skill in the Demo
There have been a lot of players who have recorded long hours of playtime on Stellar Blade, and one player may have just left each one of them behind. Reddit user hardwarecheese took to the Stellar Blade subreddit and shared a post titled “Almost maxed out!.”
They added that they are also excited to transfer their progress to the full game upon launch. The user also shared an image of all the skills and combos they have unlocked in the game, and it is truly extraordinary. The player has unlocked almost all skills in Survival, Attack, and Beta.
Although it is great that players can unlock most of the skills and be able to take them to the full game, it might hinder their experience. Players spending too much on the Stellar Blade demo may not find the full game very exciting and could also find it easy.
They might also feel like they have seen everything in the game. One user replied to the post, saying that the player might soon feel burnt out, and they could also be complaining that the game does not have much to offer and does not justify the price tag.
Stellar Blade Developers Have Already Asked Fans to Go Easy on the Demo
Some Stellar Blade players have stated that they have spent more than 50 hours in the game. There are also players who have recorded between 83 and 96 hours in the demo. The Stellar Blade demo begins at the start of the game and is nearly an hour and a half long, lasting until the first boss fight of the game.
Developer Shift Up has also announced that players who complete the demo will get surprise rewards in the game. It seems like players have taken this too seriously and have played the demo too many times. The developers asked the players to “go easy on the demo” via an X/Twitter post.
We're so grateful for your love of our game❤️ To enjoy the main game properly though, please go easy on the demo. 50+ hours of demo play…we're scared!😱#StellarBlade #PS5 #Trial #ThankYou pic.twitter.com/L8Vyh9AAN5

They added that they are grateful, but players should leave something to go about in the main game. Most of the reaction to the player’s achievement has been mixed, as some think it will spoil the game while others are of the mind that it will make the player enjoy it more.
However, only the full release of the game will tell how it fares in the long run. What are your thoughts about players spending over 50 hours in Stellar Blade? Let us know in the comments.
