One of the highly anticipated projects that is expected to set to tone is Superman: Legacy helmed by the DC boss himself, which will see an all new Superman in David Corenswet. The Guardians of the Galaxy director has been teasing audiences with little titbits of information from the set which also included an official reveal of Corenswet in the famous Superman suit. But not all fans seem to be going gaga over the look.

The James Gunn Superman Suit Has Been Revealed

One of the key features of any superhero is the suit that defines his or her personality. DC’s most celebrated superhero Superman has been synonymous with his signature blue and red caped costume that has undergone various changes over the years through the different actors that have portrayed the character.

DC head James Gunn who is directing the much awaited Superman: Legacy, dropped the all-important image of his lead actor David Corenswet trying on the iconic suit on set. In a post on 6th May on his Instagram handle, the director succinctly captioned the now viral pic with the words ‘Get Ready’ followed by the date of the film’s release.

The image shows Corenswet in costume, slipping on a boot against the backdrop of a Metropolis skyscraper, along with what appears to be an imminent disaster about to strike. Interestingly, the first noticeable thing about the suit appears to be its old and faded look which is seen on the enblem as well.

Whether this is a deliberate ploy by Gunn that would have a bearing on the film, is something that remains to be seen. Meanwhile, fans across the world have expressed their opinions loud and clear on social media.
