Hideo Kojima is famous for his love of entertainment and often graces his fans with his reviews of the many series and shows he has watched. The famous Japanese video game designer posted his review of the recently released episode of The Boys. Starring Antony Starr as the problematic ‘superhero’, Homelander, the recent episode is one of the most deranged episodes of the entire series.
Featuring Homelander going to visit his traumatizing and grisly past, Kojima joined in to praise the vision and storytelling of the series even when the season is being criticized for not being good enough by the fans. In a recent tweet, Kojima tweeted.

The shocking and deranged nature of the fourth episode, coupled with Kojima’s extraordinary review and Erik Kripke’s retweet, have all contributed to a rise in anticipation for the series. And fans cannot wait to see what Kripke and the crew have been cooking!

Wisdom of the Ages, The Boys’s fourth episode, features Antony Starr’s Homelander taking his past and traumas head-on as he goes on to visit his roots, aka the laboratory he was experimented on. While everyone was certain that it would not be a happy family reunion, they were shocked to see the chocolate fudge whale cake the supe brought.
But as was expected, Homelander soon did what he was made for, butchering the entire crew and leaving just the chief scientist Barbara alive and traumatized. As harrowing and as grisly as the scene was, Starr was just as impressive and impeccable. Coupled with Starr’s brilliant performance and the brutal series of events, fans are convinced Homelander is now one of the Best Villains of All Time!

Now counted among legendary villains like Joker, Darth Vader, Thanos, and more, it is certainly groundbreaking for Antony Starr to have reached this level. From starring in a show as deranged as The Boys to being now one of the most iconic villains of all time, fans cannot seem to have enough of Homelander.
