The Marvels star is not only a talented actress but also a captivating comic book author. However, Vellani exudes an undeniable attraction to power that transcends her on-screen persona. In the Superhero Comic Con, she opens up about how comic books are a powerful thing, and once Marvel Studios is done with the popular works, they will make adaptations of her works.

Iman Vellani Is Looking To Grab Hold Of The Most Powerful Role in The MCU

Iman Vellani has a commanding on-screen presence that has captivated audiences and critics alike. It can be said that her charm lies not in her acting prowess but in her understanding of the role and the story. As a result, she became one of the most important parts of Phase 5 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

However, her ambition was not content with that, she wanted more, as she was bent on leaving an indelible mark on the minds of the fans. Once she became a major name in the franchise, she started working on her own line of Marvel comic books, and at the recent Superhero Comic Con, she explained her plans for the near future.

According to reports from Agents of Fandom (@AgentsFandom) on X, the Ms. Marvel actress shared her opinion of comic books, calling them the most “powerful thing in the world.”

But that’s not all, because once Marvel Studios runs out of comics to adapt, they will come to her to use her works. She said,

Isn’t it the most… powerful thing in the world to contribute to the source material? At some point in time, they’re gonna run out of comics to use, and then they’re gonna get to mine!

If, at some point in time, Kevin Feige decides to adapt Vellani’s work, then she would become the most powerful person in the franchise. One of the key reasons behind this notion is that comic book creators cultivate the story from scratch.

They brainstorm to weave an intricate world with a gripping storyline and memorable characters. While they can add to the source material that serves as the major blueprint that allows other authors to come up with their own creative world to explore. As a result, the author has more power than the studio to adapt their work.

Iman Vellani Comes Up With an Idea To Return Marvel’s Lost Glory

When Iman Vellani made her debut as Kamala Khan/Ms. Marvel in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, she left an impression on the viewers. Thus, it was disappointing to see that her recent project, The Marvels, did not receive the same treatment as her solo outing in Ms. Marvel.

While one would be disheartened with their film doing poorly at the box office, she is motivated more than ever to make an impactful connection with the viewer.

During an exclusive interview with The Direct, Vellani opened up about how the fans deeply care for their favorite characters, because they have psychologically formed a strong bond with them. She said,

I don’t know. I don’t know if it’s about just getting bigger and bigger and bigger. Because then, like, what’s left? You know, I think it’s just about making the audience care about their characters. And I think they’ve established so many wonderful characters in the last phase of the MCU that it would be nice to see them all again and see them team up.

While Vellani’s plan of doing crossovers is great, it looks like Ryan Reynolds’ Deadpool & Wolverine might be the film, that Marvel Studios desperately needed to help them restore their long-lost glory at the box office and pave the path for more R-rated projects.

Deadpool & Wolverine are set to release in theatres on 26 July 2024.
