Her Devil Fruit is a paramecia-type fruit that, when awakened, can affect the surroundings and the environment according to its own power.
Therefore, the theory states that if Bonney awakens her Devil Fruit and uses Distorted Future, she can not only transform herself into a future she believes in but also her surroundings. This could change the entire narrative of One Piece and once again bring a new and unexpected twist for One Piece fans.
Also, if Bonney envisions herself in any kind of future, her Devil Fruit can make it happen for her. Thus, if she thinks of a future where she has the power of other Devil Fruits, the Age-Age Fruit can make it happen.
