Now the question arises: how are console players going to take on the challenge of playing a fast-paced title like this game with the controllers, as sometimes it becomes hard with the keyboard and mouse? That’s why a fan thinks that, just like PC players throw their mouse and keyboards into the screen, there are going to be a lot of instances of that with the controllers as well.

Although the fan isn’t totally wrong, To play this game, precise crosshair placement is the key. And if you can do it swiftly with a mouse, doing it with a controller might not be impossible, but it is going to be very difficult.

However, Riot has put a feature on consoles called Focus Mode. This is not as accurate as ADS but way more precise than Hipfire. Since hipfire on PC is way smoother, that’s why developers have added the Focus mode to smoothen the hipfire experience via controllers.

  • NA: 8:30 AM PT
  • JP: 4:30 PM PT

Another important point to remember, which players have been asking a lot, is that if any player has a certain rank in their Riot account, then they can carry on their ranked gameplay from the same rank on consoles in the closed beta.

In the map pool, only Abyss, Ascent, Bind, Haven, and Sunset are available right now in this closed beta phase, whereas Lotus and Icebox will arrive on July 9 and 23, respectively.
