It is no secret that Norman Reedus is a popular man and has a ton of friends working in the same industry. Perhaps Reedus invited his good friend and colleague, Jeffrey Dean Morgan as a guest at Kojima Productions while working on the game, or be something else entirely.

The Cast of Death Stranding 2: On the Beach Could Get Better

Morgan could leap from a live-action television series to a realistic video game like Death Stranding 2.

Kojima is collaborative according to Justin Leeper, a former stuntman turned motion capture actor who briefly mentioned his time working on the first game and denied his involvement in Death Stranding 2. Kojima does not mind any input or suggestions from his cast takes them into account and utilizes them where he sees fit.

It is common for actors to visit their friends at work and this is probably why Morgan was on set. However, there is a chance that Morgan could be there for a secret role which sent the gaming community into a frenzy.

Perhaps Morgan was there for a visit but one thing led to another and he somehow figured into Kojima’s vision. There is a slim chance of the actor popping up for a brief cameo or he could play an important role making this The Walking Dead reunion even better.

The gaming community lives for this sort of content and will talk about the potential of Morgan joining the cast for days. The actor has had a strong following and his inclusion in the game would boost the popularity even more.

Morgan can sell and Reedus could have put in a good word for his friend to convince the director. The scenes these two have shared in previous projects ignited the fan’s interest to see even more of it and Kojima could deliver in a different format.

Morgan’s performances from his projects made him a fan-favorite and appearing in a video game could be a blessing. Kojima loves to work with talent that could elevate the sequel even more knowing Reedus and Morgan had a strong history.

Death Stranding 2: On the Beach Is a Talent Powerhouse

Hideo Kojima directs his actors in a very artistic and human way.
Hideo Kojima directs his actors in a very artistic and human way.

Kojima has worked with a handful of talented actors ranging from big blockbuster movies, and popular television series, to prolific stage actors, and well-known voice actors. Mads Mikkelsen was easily convinced that he and his co-stars were in good hands with Kojima at the helm for the original game.

Actors have star power and needs to be honed in an artistic way that is unique to Kojima’s style. Perhaps Morgan’s range could be improved immensely after working with the director.

There is no solid evidence apart from being in the same photo as the lead actor and director, but Morgan shouldn’t let the opportunity slide if Kojima did offer him a role.
