After several previews featuring new characters that will be part of the game’s massive roster, fans finally received the release date for Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero, the spiritual successor and direct continuation of the Budokai Tenkaichi saga. This franchise was one of the most popular on the PlayStation 2 in the early 2000s.
Many fans believe it’s one of the best games based on this popular anime. Beyond the confirmed release date and a roster of over 160 characters to choose from, this title, published by Bandai Namco, continues to generate buzz with various new features.

Recently, Bandai Namco confirmed that in story mode, players will not only have the option to stay within the canon but also have the exciting choice to experience the game differently. Players can now experience key story mode moments from a first-person perspective.

A recent video revealed the possibility of seeing certain story moments in first-person, where we see the player’s perspective shift. For example, you are now Raditz’s as he prepares to face Piccolo’s attack head-on, leaving you with an iconic moment where Goku sacrifices himself.

These small additions to the game allow fans to experience this beloved saga in a completely new way. Fans couldn’t be more excited to try this game out. Many X users reacted to this new feature, praising the studio for trying new things.
Another confirmed feature of this title is the return of splitscreen mode, which allows two players to fight on the same console or platform. Unfortunately, due to certain limitations that the studio didn’t clarify, this mode will only be available on one stage, but fans are still pleased with this inclusion.
On October 8th, Sparking Zero will be available for the PS5, Xbox Series S/X, and PC. This will be the first title to canonically incorporate the story arcs presented in Super. This means that many powerful fighters will be part of the game’s official roster.
