This universe expanded with multiple spin-offs, series, movies, action figures, video games, and more. Star Wars: The Clone Wars was the byproduct of this expansion and the animated show was quite ahead of its time.
George Lucas Would Agree With This One Actor’s Statements
The Clone Wars followed the story of well… the Clone Wars where multiple star systems get involved. With the Jedi Order trying to maintain peace within the universe, an old threat returns (not Sauron, unfortunately).

With the show running for 7 seasons, there were multiple characters designed, animated, and, voiced by hundreds of people. The character of Aurra Sing, a Bounty Hunter, was especially noticed by fans.
In an interview, the actress, who voiced the character of Aurra Sing, sat down for a chat with the Star Wars Insider Magazines. During the interview, Jamie King revealed that her character was distracting for a very particular reason.
Who wouldn’t want to show off that amazing figure? She knows shes hot, and that is a form of power and distraction. She distracts her targets with her body —and then she shoots them!
King further addressed that the dark circles around Aurra Sing weren’t because of sleep deficiency, but because she was in her goth phase.
I think she is going through a goth phase—for the rest of her life!
Well, the end result was the iconic character of Aurra Sing and her methods of collecting bounty. On the other hand, fans became curious and wondered why Darth Vader wasn’t running the universe. George Lucas had quite an amazing answer for that.
The point is that Lucas has an answer for almost every question, and during the initial days, he was underestimated a lot. When Lucas gave an explanation for The Force, his supporters thought that the idea would bomb completely!
George Lucas’ Explanation About The Force Was Genius!
Midi-chlorian is a term used to describe the microscopic life forms that hold the Cosmic Force together. The term was inspired by Mitochondria by George Lucas and he wanted to use it in the Star Wars franchise.

However, things turned sour when Lucas pitched the idea and received a negative reception for it. George Lucas revealed in a 2005 interview with Rolling Stone that people called his idea a “giant turkey”.
Everybody said to drop the stuff about the midichlorians, it makes it too confusing. But it’s a metaphor for a symbiotic relationship that allows life to exist. Everybody said it was going to be a giant turkey: ‘This isn’t going to help LucasFilm at all.‘
He further continued,
I said, ‘This is about the movie and the company is just going to have to deal with whatever happens.‘
In the end, Yoda went to the center of the galaxy and had a conversation with the Force Priestess in Star Wars: The Clone Wars, wherein he discovered the Midi-chlorians.
Star Wars: The Clone Wars debuted in 2008 and ran for 7 seasons before concluding in 2020. The series received a rating of 8.4/10 on IMDB and a whopping 93% on Rotten Tomatoes.
The iconic animated show is available on the Disney+ bundle in the U.S.
