Xbox will seemingly be making a huge comeback at Gamescom 2024. This is the largest gaming event fans have ever seen and is actually a trade fair for video games, where developers exhibit upcoming games, game-related news, updates, and hardware.
The hype was already there, but after some promising words from Microsoft’s long-hailed console company, the hype has reached a whole new level.
Xbox Will Attend Gamescom 2024 with the “Biggest Booth Yet”
Unlike PlayStation and Nintendo, Microsoft’s console company will be present at Gamescom 2024. Not only that, the official X handle of the console company has claimed that this year it will be their “biggest booth ever” at the event, which will be held from August 21–25.

Additional details of Microsoft’s approach to the event will be shared later on; however, we got a glimpse of what lies ahead for millions of fans at the event. The company has confirmed some of the games that will be presented at the event, like Age of Mythology: Retold, Avowed, Ara: History Untold, Diablo IV: Vessel of Hatred, Diablo Immortal, The Elder Scrolls Online, Fallout 76, Towerborne & World of Warcraft: The War Within, and many more.
The recent summer showcase was also absolutely incredible for the fans. Now, Gamescom is also following the same path. Regarding the upcoming event, industry insider and Kinda Funny XCast’s Paris Lilly has stated on the ResetEra forums recently:
I told you that Showcase was going to be good, and the wild thing is, I had multiple people at Xbox tell me there was so much more they could have shown. Gamescom is shaping up to be a big show too.
Now all eyes will be on August 21, when the highly anticipated show will pump up in Cologne, Germany.
Where is Indiana Jones and the Great Circle?
However, even after all these great games, fans can’t restrict themselves from wanting the highly anticipated title, Indiana Jones and the Great Circle. This title was nowhere mentioned in the already revealed line-up of the games that will be presented at the upcoming event in Germany.
As per the latest Developer Direct, the game is about to be released somewhere later in 2024. So, fans were rooting for the game in the highly anticipated event. But due to the absence of the game, fans are forced to move their limit of patience to 2025 if it isn’t coming as a surprise package.

Despite the fact that there is no release date from Bethesda, there have been some regular sneak peeks. The company has recently shared stealth gameplay footage in which you can think of the game as if it were the child of Dishonored, Wolfenstein, and Metal Gear Solid.
