Starfield has gradually been introducing updates, working toward erasing the lukewarm reception it got on launch into something much bigger and better.
Whether it’s working or not is up to the people to decide, but along the way, loyal fans have stuck with the game, and more continue to join. Some have offered suggestions that could improve the experience, and one in particular seems like a real winner.
Starfield Needs to Rip This From Cyberpunk 2077

This might be one of the more unique suggestions for Bethesda’s newest release. Aside from the obvious number of requests for bug fixes, there were suggestions on future expansions, quality-of-life updates, option toggles and graphic tweaks, and more.
I need a Cyberpunk combat music replacement mod

One Redditor has a unique idea to improve the game’s ambiance, and it does not have anything to do with visuals. Instead, they’d like a mod to add music from CD Peojekt Red’s Cyberpunk 2077 to Bethesda’s open-world space RPG.
That’s right—music. Having Cyberpunk‘s combat music in Bethesda’s game instead of the default tunes would make a world of difference.
Music is the bread and butter of any game. You could have something mind-blowingly cool on-screen, but without the right OST to compliment it, you’re not going to evoke nearly the same emotion as you would with something that fits.
OP’s Dream Will Have to Wait for Another Day

If OP ignited your hopes for a mod like this and you’re invested too, there’s good news and bad news.
The good news is, there’s already a mod like this on Nexus, so your dreams are fulfilled! The bad news is, it doesn’t work all that great.

The problem seems to be that custom sound files aren’t working well with mods that are made using the new Creation Kit that Bethesda released specifically for modders.
Until Bethesda fixes this issue, there’s nothing that can be done. More than a few modders have been waiting on news from the studio, so hopefully, it comes out with a proper fix around the time the Shattered Space DLC comes out (unless this somehow breaks it even further).
When it gets fixed, however, think of all the possibilities with custom sound files being easily modded into the game.
You could take sounds from any game and put them into Starfield, but there’s also no doubt that some talented modders will create custom ambient sounds from scratch to put into the game and enhance gameplay.
If this issue gets fixed, are there any particular mods you’re looking forward to seeing? What mods are you currently running on your game? Let us know in the comments below!
