The battle between DC fans and anime fans is eternal. Both the fandom feels that their best and most popular characters will wipe the floor with the opponents. This is an age-long argument that has no need. The two universes are different, and there is no way to collaborate until their creators think of a plot to join hands.
Out of the superhero fandom, Superman is to be the most abled candidate to take on Goku from the anime fandom. Both are considered the strongest in their respective shows. But DC‘s Superman once admitted that another being is more powerful than him. His abilities are dangerous and can even make Goku’s worst nightmares come true if they ever come face-to-face.
DC Comics Martian Manhunter Can Easily Defeat Dragon Ball‘s Goku
Martian Manhunter can easily defeat Goku. People who read the comics will know this fact, but the cinematics fans won’t know about it. Ultra Instinct is Goku’s highest potential currently. He can travel at lightning speed, packs more power with each punch, has a God-level instinct, and is calmer during battles. All these powers make him nearly invincible. But Martian Manhunter’s best abilities are more than enough to defeat Goku.
Martian Manhunter is originally from Mars. His real name is J’onn J’onzz. Martian Manhunter is as powerful as Superman and Wonder Woman. He can fly, is intangible, and has the ability to be invisible. These powers seem ordinary in front of Goku. Even if he becomes invisible, Goku can sense his life force. But the Martian Manhunter’s most powerful; technique is telekinesis. Goku is not much of an intelligent guy. He would have no counter if the DC Superhero used this trick. Taking control over Goku’s mind is a surefire way to defeat him.
Goku is a sentimental guy. If J’onn J’onzz takes the shape of one of his friends, then Goku will be puzzled. Even at lightning speed, a fraction of a second is enough for the Martian Manhunter to take down Goku. J’onn J’onzz is also a strategist for the DC‘s Justice League. So he would have thought of all the possibilities and ways to defeat Son Goku of Dragon Ball.
Superman Is Afraid Of The Martian Manhunter
Superman is considered to be the most powerful being in DC Comics. He is treated as a God and the leader of the Justice League. He can break the sound barrier while running and flying, shoot lasers from his eyes, freeze things with his breath, and have an indestructible body. Even after such qualities, he is frightened to face the Martian Manhunter one-on-one.

Joe Kelly, Doug Mahnke, Tom Nguyen, David Barron, and Ken Lopez created JLA #86. In that comic, Fernus, the dark personality of the Martian Manhunter, attacked the Justice League and planned to set the Earth on Fire. During that time, the Justice League held a meeting about defeating their enemy. At that time, Superman said he would not dare to face J’onn J’onzz one-on-one.
” I can count on one hand the number of beings in the known universe I would be afraid to face in open combat. J’onn J’onzz is at the top of that list. He is the most powerful being on the face of the Earth.” Superman has faced several strong foes, yet he places the Martian Manhunter first.
It will be an easy win for the Martian Manhunter if he ever faces Goku. The anime fans might not argue with this, but there is no way that Goku can defend against J’onn J’onzz’s most powerful ability. If Goku were to unlock any new power in the future, then the Martian Manhunter could face some difficulties. For now, neither Goku nor Superman can stand against DC Comics Martian Manhunter.
