Hemlock Grove
The show is set in a town in Pennsylvania where mysterious murders happen every now and then. A newcomer gypsy, Peter Rumancek, masks his true identity as a werewolf. On the other hand, Roman Godfrey, heir to the wealthy family, could be hiding a little dark secret. Together, they try to solve the mystery to stop the series of murders.
Based on the book by Brian McGreevy, Hemlock Grove currently has three seasons streaming on Netflix. The show is oozing with bloodthirsty scenes and flesh-hungry creatures that are not for the fainthearted.
Dark
The Dark series is the first-ever German-language original adapted on Netflix. In a small German town, two children went missing that led to an unsolved mystery of the past. It features time travel on a whole new different level as things begin to unfold. People begin to discover that events happen exactly the same 33 years after.
This thrilling yet spooky series tackles the concept of worm-hole, an idea involving linkages of disparate points in space-time, or in layman’s terms, a time-traveling portal hidden in a cave system beneath the town’s local nuclear power plant.
Black Mirror
This anthology series features stand-alone stories of people in a futuristic setting. It explores the possibilities and consequences of the use and abuse of advanced technologies in human lives. Each story is unique and contains powerful messages that will either baffle the audience or leave them in awe.

Sense8

Riverdale
The series follows the life of Archie Andrews and his friends as they navigate the world of high school, romance, family, and sex in the small town called Riverdale. The story begins when a mysterious murder happened and Archie and his friends get entangled in the situation. It turns out that the small town has more secrets than it appears to be.
Currently, the original series has 5 seasons. In February 2021, news renewing the series for a sixth season broke out and will premiere in November this year.
Kingdom
Set in the Joseon Dynasty, a mysterious plant that grows in the wild forest is known to bring back the dead. For years, this secret has been kept until one day, the king died and was resurrected to life, only as a living dead. The plague spread like wildfire in the entire kingdom and it is up to the Crown Prince to protect his people.
The much-awaited special episode Kingdom: Ashin of the North premiered on Netflix in July 24th and received positive reviews. The success of the franchise portends for a third season.
Stranger Things
The sudden disappearance of a young boy shook the whole town of Hawkins, Indiana, and revealed a young girl with supernatural abilities. The story follows the mystifying adventures of four friends as they try to look for their missing friend in the ‘Upside Down’ and discover what monsters lurk in the dark.
The critical success of the Stranger Things franchise paved the way for three seasons. The upcoming fourth one is already planned out even before the release of the third season. Fans will be feasting their eyes in more Demogorgon madness.

Girl From Nowhere
The popular Thai series that shook the social media follows the journey of a mysterious girl named Nanno. She transfers to different schools every time she exposes the misdeeds of the faculty and students. When Nanno was caught in controversy and her true life got exposed, she made sure that everyone will pay for it.
The anthology mystery thriller drama Girl From Nowhere is partially based on a true story. In the series, Nanno became an instrument of revenge and she created her own brand of justice.
Locke & Key
After the death of Rendell Locke, his wife and children moved to his family’s residential home called Keyhouse. Soon after, the children discover a number of keys that potentially unlock mysterious doors inside the bizarre house. They also discovered that a demonic entity is searching for the keys for evil purposes.
Locke & Key is based on a comic book series and it premiered in February last year. The show is slated for a second season this coming October.
