This episode sees the team investigating a break-in at a Black Manta facility, where they discover that Aqualad has been working with Black Manta all along. The episode is full of twists and turns, as the team uncovers Aqualad’s true motives and battles Black Manta and his army of soldiers. But also, the final scene sets up the events of the rest of the season perfectly. As the team have to go to great lengths to defeat the Light.


“Summit” – Season 2, Episode 19

This pivotal episode sees the team attending a summit of the Justice League and their allies, where they discover that the Reach has been manipulating events throughout the galaxy, as the team uncovers the Reach’s ultimate plan and battles their army of soldiers. Another extremely intense episode in the series, as we watch the sheer determination of the team as they battle a foe they have never faced before. Siblings of Red Tornado, Red Volcano and Red Torpedo infiltrate the cave and push the team to their limits. Each member starts to get taken out one by one, leaving just Robin and Artemis to try and save their team and stop their enemies. The two heroes without any special powers must step up and find a way to win.


“Independence Day” – Season 1, Episode 1

Heroes and their sidekicks

The episode that started the whole series, we kick off the series with the daily lives of these sidekicks battling arch enemies alongside their heroes. Each of them excited for their big day as they finally got to enter the Hall of Justice. But when they are forced into battle, we bare witness to these sidekicks finally mature into the heroes we eventually grow to love throughout the series.
