10 Forgotten MCU Teases We Hope To See In The Near Future

Marvel Cinematic Universe are famous for their Easter eggs and post-credits scenes in their movies. Tons of the time, these teases seem to line up future movies within the franchise, creating hype among the fans also creating an ideal transition to a subsequent movie. Marvel Studios didn’t come up with the idea of post-credit scenes, but they brought it to mainstream popularity. All 21 films on their catalog have a minimum of one easter egg. Some make more sense than others, while some are just there for pure fun. Since the studio releases three movies a year and all three usually have more than one sequel set up in them, it’s impossible to pay off every single one. Here are 10 forgotten MCU teases we hope to ascertain within the near future.

1) Atlantis

In Iron Man 2, when discussing Tony’s involvement with the Avengers, a map pinpointing every future movie location is shown within the background, including Wakanda and possibly Atlantis.

That early tease of Black Panther’s presence within the MCU has paid off decidedly with an Oscar-nominated solo movie and a key role in Captain America: Civil War and two Avengers movies. We haven’t seen a movie happening in Atlantis on the map. This suggested that Namor the Sub-Mariner would be introduced, ruling over his undersea kingdom of Atlantis.

2) The Original Guardians Of The Galaxy Team

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 introduced MCU fans to Stakar Ogord, the leader of the comics universe’s original Guardians of the Galaxy team from the ‘70s. This easter egg suggests that we might see them either get their own movie or join the Guardians we all know and love in their threequel. we’ve yet to ascertain any follow-up on this tease.

3) The Vulture Protected Spider-Man In Prison

In the mid-credits scene of Spider-Man: Homecoming, we see Adrian Toomes, a.k.a. the Vulture, in prison. Mac Gargan approaches him and says he’s got some guys on the surface who are able to kill Spider-Man if Toomes can reveal his real name. However, despite knowing that Spiderman’s real name is Peter Parker, Toomes pretends he doesn’t know. Now, this is often something that creates the viewers think, did he protect Peter to save lots of him for himself or to reward him for saving his life? we will hope this gets revisited during a future movie.

4) Rick Jones’ S.H.I.E.L.D. File

In The Incredible Hulk, which is already a forgotten movie, we see a S.H.I.E.L.D. file with the name “Jones, Richard ‘Rick’,” hinting at the introduction of Marvel Comics legend Rick Jones. Jones isn’t necessarily a superhero, but he’s an expert in tech and hand-to-hand combat, so he still comes in handy. Jones has been a sidekick to a couple of characters including the Hulk, Captain America, and Captain Marvel, and has been involved during a few of Marvel’s biggest events.

5) Jonathan Pangborn’s Revenge

In the post-credits scene of Doctor Strange, Karl Mordo strips Jonathan Pangborn of his magical powers and says there are “too many sorcerers” within the world. This post-credits was important because it helped in setting up Doctor Strange 2. we can expect a vendetta against Strange plotted by this guy.

6) Harley Keener To Reappear As Iron Lad

Harley Keener was introduced as a plucky young sidekick for Tony, but Tony would eventually find a far better version in Peter Parker. Still, Harley Keener’s appearance in MCU won’t be a complete waste if he becomes Iron Lad and leads the Young Avengers. His debut in Iron Man 3 was so long ago that the kid actor who played him reappeared at Tony Stark’s funeral in Avengers: Endgame.

7) The Grandmaster Is Still Alive

In the post-credit scene of Thor: Ragnarok, we see that the Grandmaster remains alive on Sakaar, begging all of his slaves to not kill him. Realistically, the people he once enslaved wouldn’t spare his life, and that we can assume he wouldn’t have lasted long after the scene. MCU fans love the Grandmaster and regular moviegoers simply love Jeff Goldblum, and fans would like to see him make a comeback in future films.

8) Cosmo The Spacedog

Cosmo the Spacedog, a comic book version of the dog that the Soviet Union sent into space within the 1960s, is often seen within the Collector’s museum as a living exhibit in Guardians of the Galaxy. it might be awesome to ascertain Cosmo join the Guardians, giving Star-Lord a faithful sidekick.

9) The Creation Of Adam Warlock

By far Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, holds the highest spot in having the foremost post-credit scenes, precisely 5 in total. One among them saw Ayesha, getting briefed about the perfect Sovereign they created to destroy the Guardians of the Galaxy, called Adam Warlock.

This teased the introduction of Adam Warlock two years ago. Fans are eagerly expecting his appearance within the coming movies.

10) The Real Mandarin

Marvel made a One-Shot entitled All Hail the King that exposed that the important Mandarin and his criminal group, the Ten Rings, are still out there. Marvel fans were disappointed once they acknowledged that Mandarin in Iron Man 3 was a weird and daft actor named Trevor Slattery.

We can expect an appearance of Mandarin and his criminal group in an upcoming Marvel movie Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings, which will be a part of Marvel’s phase 4.
