Julia Roberts says she sees no artistic value in stripping naked. “I wouldn’t do nudity in a film, for me, personally…to act with my clothes on is a performance. To act with my clothes off is a documentary,” she revealed.

Once a stripper, Chris Pratt now keeps his body to himself ever since he found religion. Not only he has sworn on not doing nude scenes, but he would also refrain from any kind of sex scene.

Anna Kendrick has no issues with doing sex scenes but she draws her line at nudity. “I’ve never had a problem with simulated sex scenes — that feels like it’s about the character, whereas I only get one body, so nudity is more about me,” she explained.

Refused To Do Nude Scenes

Out of the entire cast of Sex And The City, only Sarah Jessica Parker opposed doing nude scenes. She recently revealed that she doesn’t even appreciate the idea of using a body double.

Mila Kunis did the maximum amount of nudity that her conscience permitted her in 2011’s Friends with Benefits. “I showed side boob. I don’t need to show ass, you get one or the other. You don’t need both,” she said.

Ricky Gervais believes that nobody wants or needs to see it all and cancels out all chances of him stripping naked.

Meghan Fox refrains from doing nude scenes because she fears her kids might see it someday.

Rachel Bilson claims she has almost lost out on roles after resisting nudity. “Movies can be sexy or sexual without showing things,” she told Playboy magazine.

Although he has never done it, if an opportunity arises, Samuel L. Jackson would prefer a body double doing nude scenes for him.

Allison Williams was the only Girls castmate who didn’t get naked. She joked and explained, “I didn’t want to give my future hypothetical children another avenue by which to be made fun of.”

After becoming a mother in 2015, Keira Knightly decided that she will no longer do nude scenes for male directors.

ABC’s show ‘Scoundrels’ fired Neal McDonough after he refused to do sex scenes. Out of respect for his wife, McDonough doesn’t even kiss other women in his films.

Mandy Moore believes there are many other ways to be sexy than just stripping naked. “It would be completely uncomfortable to walk down the street and know that the person passing by had seen me without my clothes on,” Mandy told USA Today.

Kristen Bell claims that she’s comfortable in getting herself into shape for a lingerie scene, but would definitely draw the line at nudity.

In an interview with Glamour magazine, Jessica Alba justified her refrainment from nudity, “I don’t want my grandparents to see my boobs. That’s it, it would be weird at Christmas. And, I mean, really, if you look at the movies I have done, getting naked would never ‘elevate’ the picture”.
