Traditionally, it is a good sign if a film lifts it’s review embargo early; as it shows the studios’ have faith in their movie. Rotten Tomatoes scores have been rather surprising and highly debated for some of last year’s big blockbusters (Star Wars: The Last Jedi and Justice League both ended with large gaps between critic and audience responses.)
Black Panther is currently holding at a 100% Critic Rating with a 97% Audience Rating making it the highest critically rated Marvel film so far. The firm has 50 positive reviews and 0 negative reviews.
The Marvel Cinematic Universe films has yet to receive a “rotten” status from Rotten Tomatoes.
