Thanks to some sneaky photographers, last week we were blessed with our first look of Zachary Levi in his Shazam costume. The unofficial photos of the suit garnered a bit of a negative reaction from fans (some thinking it looked like a set photo from 1996’s Jingle All The Way).

The smart ones, however, are waiting to form their opinions until we at least get to see the front of the suit (or better yet… an actual official photo from the studio). It looks like today is the day, as we have received another set photo showing us the front of the costume.

Looks like Sandberg wasn’t kidding when he said that the suit would be heavily influenced by Shazam’s look in Justice League: War. We will have to wait and see a little bit more before we can really make a decision on the look of the suit, but the production seems to be following in the “brighter” DCEU aesthetic that Justice League and Wonder Woman have been laying the groundwork for.
