Warner Bros. wasn’t bluffing! Yesterday WB put out a little teaser trailer revealing a full trailer would we hitting the web today!

The full trailer kicks off the marketing campaign for the next installment in the beloved Harry Potter franchise, and in its opening shots returns us to where it all began… Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. It is here that we see the (sorta) friendly face of a much younger PROFESSOR Albus Dumbledore, played by Jude Law.

Whereas the first Fantastic Beasts movie stayed centralized to New York City, USA… the sequel looks to be taking things back to protagonist, Newt Scamander’s homeland… Europe.

Of the returning cast from the previous installment, Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, Scamander once again being portrayed by Oscar winner Eddie Redmayne, along with Dan Fogler, Johnny Depp, Katherine Waterston, Alison Sudol and Ezra Miller returning for their respective roles. Newcomers… Zoë Kravitz, Callum Turner, Jude Law, and Claudia Kim will be sharing the screen.

The next installment in the Harry Potter franchise is sticking to their Fall release tradition with Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald releasing in theaters on November 16, 2018.


Magizoologist Newt Scamander joins forces with young Albus Dumbledore to prevent the devious Gellert Grindelwald from raising pure-blood wizards to rule over all non-magical beings.
