I am the Immortal Iron Fist sworn enemy of the Hand and protector of K’un Lun! I am the Immortal Iron Fist sworn enemy of the Hand and protector of K’un Lun! Although I was fairly tempted to post this article continuing the trend above, we do have some exciting news for you Iron Fist fans, season 2 will be premiering on September 7th, 2018.

Season wise, this will catch all the characters up with 2nd seasons with Daredevil. At Comic-Con last year, we were under the assumption that Daredevil most likely would be premiering in 2018 before the 2nd season of Iron Fist. We can now confirm that’s not the case, and will be getting Iron Fist season 2 fairly soon.

Now for all those that have checked out after witnessing the sub-par season 1, this new season will have a new showrunner. Raven Metzner has taken over for Scott Buck as show runner, Metzner is most known for his work on Sleepy Hollow, Falling Skies, and earlier in his career being the writer for Elektra. Although this could mean anything in terms of the quality, we at Fandom wire are excited to give this new team a shot. Especially after seeing the change in character teased in Luke Cage Season .

Confirmed to be returning for Season 2 are Sacha Dawan as Davos, Jessica Henwick as Colleen Wing, Tom Pelphrey as Ward Meachum, and Jessica Stroup as Joy Meachum.

New characters include Alice Eve (Star Trek Into Darkness) in an undisclosed role.
