The Academy Nominates 'Black Panther' For Best Picture

History has been made today, as Marvel Studios’ Black Panther has officially been nominated for Best Picture by the Academy Of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences. This marks the first Marvel film to receive the nomination.

Panther shares a nomination with BlacKkKlansman, Bohemian Rhapsody, The Favourite, Green Book, Roma, A Star Is Born, and Vice. It is also nominated for Best Original Score, Best Costume Design, Best Original Song, Best Sound Mixing, Best Sound Editing, and Best Production Design.

The 92nd Academy Awards will premiere on February 24th.
