‘Apex Legends’ Season 2 To Feature New Legend And Big Map Changes

New leaks have surfaced for the upcoming new season of Apex Legends.

Apex Legends Season 2 starts in just a few days on July 2nd and we are still learning more about what Respawn has planned.

With Apex Legends Season 2 players can expect a revamped battle pass, a new gun, and balance changes. That is not all though. A new hero named Wattson is expected to debut as well.

However, some new leaks suggest that season 2 is going to have even more than that. According to a trailer that leaked ahead of their planned premiere, Wattson will not be the only new character joining the game. The previously rumored character Crypto makes his appearance in the trailer among the other heroes of the game.

The trailer also highlights some considerable changes to the map as well. We can see several new buildings, structures, and hazards such as pterodactyl-like monsters and the Leviathan, which joins the other dinosaurs on the map. Following an EMP blast, the previously barren eastern part of the map is different from its previous state. It is now filled with dense vegetation and wildlife.

While Apex Legends has come under scrutiny for not being able to produce content at a similar pace as its competitor, Fortnite, it is still an enjoyable title. Developer Respawn has previously confirmed that they don’t have any intentions of trying to keep up with Fortnite, but that they will listen to criticisms of the revamped Battle Pass. The season 2 Battle Pass is set to follow Fortnite‘s lead in focusing more on challenges
