Harrison Ford has acted in two movies in the Blade Runner franchise. Starting with the 1982 movie Blade Runner, the actor has appeared in the first installment and the sequel to it Blade Runner 2049. The third installment of the movie titled Blade Runner 2099 has been delayed once again and people started trolling the film.

Due to the Writer’s Guild of America’s strike, the movie has been once again delayed and fans are trolling the movie hard for the undefined time of the release of the movies. Taking to Twitter, fans talked about how the movie will actually be released in the year 2099!

Harrison Ford’s Blade Runner 2099 Delayed…Again!

Starting with the 1982 movie Blade Runner, Harrison Ford starred in the movie as Rick Deckard. After around 35 years, the sequel Blade Runner 2049 was released in the year 2017. With the third installment announced, fans waited ecstatically for the return of the beloved Harrison Ford franchise but a release date was not revealed.

With the upcoming television series Blade Runner 2099 produced by Amazon Studios, it was recently announced that the filming for the series has been stopped due to the Writer’s Guild of America Strike. Due to the writer’s strike, the filming has currently stopped in Belfast although preparation had been underway for several months. Fans took to Twitter to express their disappointment at the news along with some trolling.

At the Cannes Film Festival, Harrison Ford made an appearance for the promotion of his upcoming film Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny. While talking about general interview questions, a reporter couldn’t help but compliment the actor on his physique.

A reporter told “I think you’re still very hot” to the actor to which Harrison Ford had the perfect reply. The Raiders of the Lost Ark actor replied with “Look, I’ve been blessed with this body. Thanks for noticing!”.

With his upcoming movie, Harrison Ford reveals the end of an era since this is the last time he will portray the iconic character of Indiana Jones again. Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny will release on 30th June 2023 in theaters across the U.S.
