Diablo 4 came out in 2023, with fans and critics alike giving it a mixed reception after all these years of waiting. That said, it looks like Blizzard is determined to make the game as great as it should be, with regular updates planned, including the recently dropped Season 3, Season of the Construct.
As we have reached the third season of Diablo 4, you may be a returning player, or you might be looking for a few tips to help you along the way during Season of the Construct, the latest season of Diablo 4. Within this list, we will discuss four tips that we believe will help you along the way.
4. Your new companion The Seneschal
Firstly, on your journey, you must get your new construct companion as soon as you possibly can. You will find this pet construct as you are going through the seasonal quest, and as the quest goes on, you will repair the construct to become your companion.
As you will begin to see, this companion will become very useful when you start to level it up. This companion has many qualities, such as being a damage dealer, capable of crowd control, and even healing you. This companion will level with you, and as you level, you can create the companions build to your liking.
As you level up this companion, you will need to farm to equip and upgrade the skills of the construct companion. You will need to use governing stones and tuning stones, which will drop from arcane tremors, vaults, and crafting. These will also be upgraded by finding or crafting duplicate stones.
3. Acquiring Governing and Tuning stones
As you have already unlocked the construct companion, you will need to upgrade it as mentioned above To do this, you will need to acquire governing stones and tuning stones. While traveling around, you will need to complete arcane tremors across Sanctuary, and these will drop the stones at random.
While doing these, when you defeat heralds that are spawned during the event, you will drop a currency called pearls of warding, which you will use in the new vaults, where you will drop more governing and tuning stones.
Once you have collected more pearls of warding, you should access one of the three vaults from the gate hall. When you travel into the vault, you will want to find the statue of Zoltan Kulle, where you will exchange one Pearl of Warding for three stacks of Zoltan’s Warding, these stacks will help protect you against the numerous traps throughout the vault. Here’s the catch every time you get hit by a trap, you will lose one stack of Zoltan’s Warding if you reach the end of the vault without any of Zoltan’s Warding stacks, which means you will not be able to open the chests, which contain better loot and more Governing and Tuning stones.
2. What world tier to play on?
Here we will discuss the options to level up quicker in the new season. Much of this section will depend on whether you have already completed the main story. If you have already completed the main story, then you will be given the opportunity to skip the campaign when you make a new character for the latest season. If you have completed the campaign, it is best to skip it, as this will help you level quicker.
When selecting your world tier, you would think if you played on a higher world tier you would gain more XP, which is correct, but enemies are stronger there and take longer to kill, so if you start off on world tier one, you will kill things quicker, which means you will gain XP quicker, so you will gain levels quicker. As you get further through the levels, you will go up in tiers, as toward the endgame, it is more beneficial as you get stronger.
1. Best ways to grind XP fast
Even though it is a new season, one of the best ways to farm your XP will be like last season, which is repeating the Domhainne Tunnels dungeon in the Strand region in Scosglen. This will be your quickest way to level, but not everyone likes grinding XP this way there are other ways.
When you first create your new seasonal character, make sure you collect your renown reward. If you have played previous seasons, you will have gained renown points by finding Alters of Lilith, finding new areas, finding waypoints, and more.
As discussed earlier, you will want to get as far through the seasonal quest as you can, not only to get your construct companion, but you will also get pretty good XP from this. Also, be warned, it will get pretty difficult.
One of our final XP tips is to complete legion events These will spawn regularly and will give you a lot of XP on completion. The final XP tip is world bosses, which will spawn every 6–8 hours. Be careful if you are attempting these world bosses early on in the new season, as many people will be trying them, but you may not defeat them, making the time you spent attempting this world boss pointless.
