5 DC Villains Carnage Would Stomp In A Fight (& 5 Who Would Destroy Carnage!)

Carnage is a sadistic and extremely powerful nemesis of Spider-Man. An offshoot of Venom symbiote, Carnage is more powerful than both Venom and Spider-Man. A sadistic killing machine, Carnage is bonded with Cletus Kasady, a psychopathic serial killer.

Having explored Carnage’s abilities and limits in Maximum Carnage and Absolute Carnage, the supervillain was strong enough to make Spider-Man befriend Venom and Morbius to defeat him. Having proved his mettle in the Marvel Universe, how far would Carnage fare against the big baddies of the DC Universe? Let’s find out.

10. Beat: Poison Ivy

A misanthrope against a psychopathic serial killer, Poison Ivy going against Carnage won’t be a pretty sight at all. As Poison Ivy uses plants for both offensive and defensive measures, any place filled with vegetation might put Carnage in trouble.

Poison Ivy can telepathically control plants and produce potent floral toxins. Her strong pheromones can also put Carnage in trouble if Cletus Kasady falls for her mind control. But, Carnage’s exceptional speed, strength, and bloodlust will hack and slash through her plant-based defenses before she can turn lethal.

9. Killed By: Silver Banshee

Defeating Poison Ivy is no small feat. But, going against Silver Banshee is absolute madness. As a foe of both Superman and Supergirl, Silver Banshee often puts the Kryptonians in big trouble using her incredible powers.

Her strength levels are off the charts as she has been able to wound the Man of Steel. She also possesses extraordinary endurance to survive blows from the Kryptonians. Her lethal Death Wail is a sonic attack that can weaken Carnage. Also, if Silver Banshee gets to know the person’s name bonded with Carnage, it’s game over.

8. Beat: Joker

The Clown Prince of Crime is definitely the craziest supervillain in any universe. But let’s face it, the only reason he is actually alive is that Batman doesn’t kill. But how far would he fare against a bloodthirsty Carnage?

Carnage would probably toy with the Joker before shredding him into pieces. The only possible way Joker can defeat Kasady is if the Carnage symbiote chooses to bond with him, owing to his superior insanity.

7. Killed By: Black Adam

In his quest to wreak havoc, Carnage would definitely come across Black Adam. Not the one to entertain nonsensical dialogues, Black Adam would straight opt for a battle.

Despite having exceptional speed and strength, Carnage would not really stand a chance against Black Adam. Having centuries of experience, Black Adam derives his powers from the ancient Egyptian deities. A prolific user of magic, Black Adam would easily stomp Carnage.

6. Beat: Killer Frost

Possessing genius intellect, Killer Frost is a dangerous foe to fight. Her ability to freeze anyone with a simple touch makes her a lethal nemesis to fight head-on. She can manipulate ice as both offensive projectiles and defensive shields.

Carnage won’t be winning this one easily as Killer Frost’s ability to absorb heat can put him in danger. Yet, Carnage’s ability to create an arsenal of lethal weapons from his body paired with his exceptional agility stacks the deck against Killer Frost.

5. Killed By: Sinestro

The major nemesis of Hal Jordan, Sinestro is a master-strategist who wields the Yellow Lantern. As a Yellow Lantern, Sinestro has all the abilities of a Green Lantern.

In a fight against Carnage, Sinestro’s years of experience as a former Green Lantern and his indomitable will curb stomp Carnage. With his own mind as the limit to his powers, there is no way Carnage can defeat the Master of Fear.

4. Beat: Killer Croc

After a rare genetic condition turned Waylon Jones into Killer Croc, he soon became a member of Batman’s rogue gallery. Killer Croc possesses crocodilian features including extraordinary strength, senses, durability, and nearly impenetrable skin.

Despite having such incredible reptilian features, Killer Croc has displayed very low intelligence. In a fight against Carnage, Killer Croc will rely mostly on his animal instincts, which is not just enough to take down the symbiote. Carnage outclasses Killer Croc in every field possible, making this fight an easy win.

3. Killed By: Enchantress

Carnage has fought against some incredibly powerful heroes in the Marvel Universe and has won some. But when it comes to battling powerful sorcerers/sorceresses, Carnage might not stand a chance.

Enchantress is one of the most powerful dark sorceresses in the DC Universe. Her powers include reality-warping, necromancy, teleportation, phase-shifting, elemental manipulation, and many other incredible abilities. In the comics, she has been able to hold her ground against the likes of Zatanna, Wonder Woman, and Superman. There’s no way physical attacks can triumph over powerful magical arts.

2. Beat/Tie: Clayface

Clayface is a member of Batman’s rogue gallery who has the ability to shape-shift and turn his amorphous clay body into dangerous weapons or defensive shields. He also possesses extraordinary superstrength and can easily recover from massive attacks.

In a fight with Carnage, there can’t be a clear winner as both of them are quite evenly matched. As Clayface’s weaknesses are water, chemical solvents, and extreme cold. Since Carnage is not exactly known for his sharp intellect, his superior speed and strength might give him a chance.

1. Killed By: Doomsday

The only person to defeat and kill the Man of Steel in single combat, Doomsday is a freak of nature. Created in the harsh environment of pre-historic Krypton, Doomsday has all the powers bestowed upon Kryptonians and some more.

Doomsday constantly keeps evolving while fighting, as a result, it is nearly impossible to defeat him the second time he comes to fight. He also possesses extraordinary regenerative abilities paired with fearsome claws, teeth, and bony spurs. In a fight with Carnage, Doomsday would rip the symbiote apart and finish the fight by swiftly finishing off Cletus Kasady.
