Many Elden Ring fans will be hopeful that they will not have to wait much longer for the release of the new expansion and with this in mind, here are a few of the bosses that Elden Ring fans may like to see return in Shadow of the Erdtree.

5. Morgott, the Omen King

Morgott the Omen King.

We start with Morgott The Omen King with Morgott being one of the first main bosses of the game, well, his first form, Margit the Fell Omen, is the first boss, then you meet his latter form later in the game, where you come to realize he is a demi-god. It was a tough battle for many players with his speed and sweeping attacks, and in his second phase, he has a massive arsenal of weaponry, from his hulking sword to a giant spear. The king of Landel gives you his best to stop you from reaching Stone Veil Castle.

4. Fire Giant

The massive Fire Giant.

Next on the list is the Fire Giant found on the mountaintop of the giants, who is the protector of the forge of giants, which is what you need to burn down the Erdtree to then gain access to the Elden throne. This giant is a monstrous creature. It is not an easy battle because of the size of the giant, with him taking up the majority of the screen, so it makes it difficult to see the attacks he is hitting you with.

Eventually, when you get his health low enough, he will go into a second form where he rips his own legs off and sacrifices them to the fire. In the second stage, his torso also becomes a single-eyed face, and this eye will become one of his weak spots. This is absolutely one of the bosses that need to make a return.

3. Red Wolf of Radagon

Gorgeous red wolf.

Number three, the Red Wolf of Radagon This feels like a very quick fight in comparison to most of the other bosses, but what this boss lacks in length of time makes up for it with the stunning colours, the glowing red wolf, and the glowing red sword. The pace is unrelenting in this fight; the HP of this boss seems very low, but the wolf hits like a train to make up for the fact that it is very squishy.

2. Malenia, Blade of Miquella

Malenia’s first phase form.

The penultimate boss on our list is Malenia, Blade of Miquella. Many fans of Elden Ring have said that this boss is by far one of the hardest bosses. You will find Malenia at the base of the Haligtree. You can actually skip this boss, but if you don’t, it is a very interesting battle. With this boss, you have to be very tactical with dodging because if she hits you, she regains a portion of her health every time she hits you.

When you complete her first phase, she becomes Malenia, Goddess of Rot. When Manelia goes into her second phase, she now spawns clouds of scarlet rot. It is safe to say that this boss will be one that many Elden Ring fans will love to see return.

1. Starscourge Radahn

The massive general Radahn.

Last but definitely not least, Radahn is a massive favourite with the fans. Originally said to be the hardest boss with in Elden Ring it was said that this boss was that difficult they had to nerf him, but there were a select number of people who destroyed this boss pre-nerf. Not only did the Elden Ring fans love the boss battle, even though it was very difficult, but there are also other aspects to this boss that the fans adore.

Further, the fans love the lore surrounding this boss, along with the backstory of why you actually have to fight him. Malenia, Goddess of Rot, infects him with her scarlet rot, and in turn, he goes mad. You give him an honourable death because he is a general.

Maybe all of these return in the expansion, maybe none of them. We’ll see soon enough, if theories and Steam updates are to be believed.
