With a huge number of characters being introduced in the Marvel universe every year, a lot of female superheroes do not get their own solo action movies. We all love to see women empowerment in action and there is no better way of appreciating it than watching a female-led action superhero movie. Along with worthy superheroes, some characters simply do not qualify for a solo movie keeping all the factors in mind. Every character has their own abilities but it’s up to the reaction of the audience whether the character is suitable to perform on a larger platform.

There are hundreds of female superheroes in the MCU each exhibiting unique powers. To simplify it, we have compiled the best 5 female superheroes that surely deserve an action-packed blockbuster and 5 female superheroes that do not really need a solo movie as they perform well in their own timelines.

1) Should: Valkyrie

A perfect personality for a solo movie, brave, fearless, and empowered. Her character went through a series of emotional events and still stands as one of the strongest characters in the Marvel universe. With Asgard under her rule, a movie revolved around Valkyrie will be highly appreciated by the audience.

2) Shouldn’t: Virginia Pepper Potts

Pepper Potts has been a part of the Marvel universe since the very beginning, the possibility of her showing heroic abilities was slightly higher when she was injected with Extremis, but the expectations came tumbling down when Tony Stark cured her of Extremis. Her character in Avengers: Endgame was remarkable but watching her putting her life and her daughter’s life at risk would not be enjoyed by the viewers.

3) Should: Shuri

Shuri gained popularity with the success of Black Panther. Her striking intelligence and tough personality were inspiring to all viewers and she could put her ability to work on a better platform i.e her own solo movie which will be appreciated by the Marvel fans.

4) Shouldn’t: Nebula

Nebula is a great character but her abilities are grounded with the existence of her sister Gamora. Her character performs better as an anti-hero. Her good side is only seen when Gamora is alongside her, after all, they are sisters. She fits better in the Guardians’ world.

5) Should: Hope van Dyne (Wasp)

With her introduction in the Ant-Man and Ant-Man And The Wasp, she proved herself as a very strong and versatile character who is resourceful physically as well as mentally on the battlefield. A solo movie revisiting her past along with a detailed explanation of her character will surely be appreciated by the Marvel fans.

6) Shouldn’t: Wanda Maximoff (Scarlet Witch)

Scarlet Witch possesses great powers that could be used as a huge advantage on a battlefield, but her thoughts take over her and she is consumed by them, she does not work well in large teams. Her decisions are often not well thought of and her reaction is impulsive.

7) Should: Maria Hill

Although she does not exhibit inhumane superpowers, she was shown to be extremely loyal to S.H.I.E.L.D. and especially to Director Nick Fury, having personally helped him several times. A flashback story of her life will be an interesting story to watch.

8) Shouldn’t: Mantis

Mantis is an interesting character yet very unprofessional. She fits perfectly in the Guardians’ universe and does not require a movie of her own as there is no long backstory of her life. Her character is simply weak for MCU’s greatest supervillains. She will not work well with more serious superheroes.

9) Should: Okoye

Okoye, introduced in Black Panther, could work as an incredible character in her own solo movie. Her detailed movie could help in the expansion of the Black Panther universe and her character surely deserves to have her own solo movie as it is a badass character everyone loves.

10) Shouldn’t: Gamora

The reason Gamora should not have her own solo movie is that as per the timeline the Gamora that left at the close of Avengers: Endgame was not the Gamora at the beginning of Avengers: Infinity War, She had no memory of her being sacrificed by Thanos for the soul stone. Her character is gullible and lets her thoughts alter her decisions.
