Summer is the perfect time for blockbuster movie releases. School’s out and everyone’s on vacation, and that means more audiences to fill the theaters. Summer blockbusters usually gross very high at the box office and most of them are popular franchises.

The most expensive Disney live-action movie ever graces the roster of the top-grossing movies of all time. The Lion King is the amalgamation of world-class technology and creative storytelling.
While it received mixed reviews, the box office did not exhibit any doubts because it certainly made a lot of profit.
Jurassic World (2015) – $1.67 Billion
Jurassic World is reminiscent of the old and the modern versions of the franchise. The plot has always puzzled the audience about the powers of science and the lengths we would go to master the art of genetic engineering.
It is a stunning movie with spectacular cinematography and visual effects. With a new film coming out this summer, surely fans will line up the theaters again.
